  • I had dinner with my kiddos. The food was pretty good. It had the similar taste and texture of traditional Mexican cuisine. It's a bit pricey, but the portions are plenty. I wanted to try the desserts, but I was too full from dinner. The staff was welcoming and provided us with a few recommendations. The only beverages are bottled $2.00 for water and soda at $3.40 each. No complimentary water or chips and salsa here. If you pay with CC the purchase has to be at least $7.00. There is plenty of seating indoors and a couple of tables set up outside. The restaurant is set too far back from the street and hidden. I'm surprised they didn't have much traffic. I will definitely go back again

  • Due to my wife's dairy allergy, it can be quite hard to find a place she can eat at with no worries, which is one of the reasons we had decided to stop on by. Upon entering El Palote Panaderia we immediately fell in love with the place. The flavors are amazing and well balanced, and the service was top notch. Next time we are in the area we will be sure to stop back by!

  • I loved it so so much!!! I love an entirely vegan restaurant. I got the fajita and the vanilla cream pastry. They were both chefs kisses so I had to get two frozen packs of the fajitas and another vanilla cream to go. For sure will be back!

  • I visited Dallas while I was doing a Daniel's Fast. What was I thinking??? I couldn't partake in Texas BBQ or Mexican Food so I thought. I stumbled across a review about El Palote and decided to give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the brisket tacos and a tortas sandwich(even though I couldn't eat the bread dew to my fast). Everything was flavorful and satisfied my my craving for Mexican cuisine. I will definitely visit next time I'm in Dallas, fasting or not.
